Peter Parker, the Amazing Spider-Man, and the estranged love of his life, Mary Jane Watson, are still trying to tie together all the threads of their recent reconciliation. While Peter deals with matters of his heart, his webbed alter ego confronts a new, superhuman threat: Digger, a creature created by gamma radiation from the remains of the infamous Vegas Thirteen, killed forty years ago by mob boss Morris Forelli. And with danger lurking around every corner, Spider-Man must use all his incredible abilities to protect Forelli and his innocent daughter...and survive. There is also a story in which one of Parker's students is desperately searching for her missing brother. Peter must face the unintended consequences of his heroic actions because he was the one who turned his student's brother into the hands of the police. This issue contains issues #51-56 of the Amazing Spider-Man series, written by J.
