Ghost Rider is known for its combination of superhero action, horror and dark supernatural elements. Behind the flaming skull and motorcycle hides the Spirit of Vengeance, a supernatural force that punishes those who do evil. The most famous bearer of Ghost Rider is Johnny Blaze, a motorcycle stuntman who, trying to save a loved one, made a fatal deal with Mephisto. Because of this, he becomes connected to the Spirit of Vengeance and is forced to share his body with a supernatural force that transforms him into a flaming avenger. But throughout Marvel's history, Ghost Rider hasn't remained tied to just Johnny Blaze. Among the more famous wielders are Danny Ketch and Robbie Reyes, and each of them brings their own story and a different perspective on the power of the Spirit of Vengeance. That is why the series often crosses the boundaries of the classic superhero story and enters the world of demons, hell, curses and the eternal struggle between good and evil.
