Batman: Batman R.I.P.

Grant Morrison's arrival in the world of the Dark Knight changed the character of Batman forever. The second of the six books that fully collect this epic saga of the Masked Protector takes you from the brink of death all the way to the very edge of sanity. Bruce Wayne's life, full of ups and downs, seems to be spiraling out of control as his relationship with the mysterious Jezebel Jet deepens. Wayne soon disappears completely, apparently falling victim to mental illness, and abandons his Batman persona to live on the streets of Gotham. A club of villains takes advantage of the downfall of their greatest enemy and starts a wave of crime that threatens to blacken the entire city.
